Vehicle Technician - Dartford, Kent

Salary: c. £33,000 plus benefits and bonus package to be discussed.

Hours: 40 hours Monday to Friday with rotated Saturdays

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading motoring organisation as a Technician within our new AA Autocentre.

The role is to provide quality, professional and effective repairs of vehicles. You will be working in a state-of-the-art workshop with all facilities on site. 

We are committed to investing in our people and as part of this role, training will be provided for the following:

  • ADAS
  • Hybrid/EV Level 2/3

You are also provided with access to our internal eLearning portal, to continue you personal and professional development.

What will I be doing?

  • Occasional interaction with Customers to discuss repairs
  • Undertake all aspects of service, maintenance & repair including diagnostics 
  • Providing vehicle mechanical reports to business customers
  • Creating videos for feedback for customers authority
  • Carrying out vehicle health checks


What do I need?

  • Automotive Level 2 in Light Vehicle Repair 
  • Driving license with no more than 6 penalty points


  • MOT Tester with valid qualification and Service/Repair experience
  • Automotive Level 3 in Light Vehicle Repair is preferred
