Vehicle Inspector Apprenticeship

With exposure to the various day-to-day activities of our Roadside Patrols and Vehicle Inspectors, we’ll help you to keep growing your engineering skills, and your confidence – to overcome challenging situations and deliver excellent service to our customers.
Road Operations Apprenticeships
- Level 2 Autocare Technician
- 24 months
Gaining an in-depth understanding and knowledge of the fundamentals of various vehicle systems and components in both electric and hybrid cars, you’ll learn how to use advanced diagnostic vehicle equipment and a range of specialist tools to identify faults and generate repair solutions. You’ll also learn more about how the business works, and how you can contribute to our overall performance.
As well as gaining an apprenticeship qualification you may have the opportunity to join the AA in a permanent role, and the option to do a Level 3 Motor Vehicle and Maintenance Technician apprenticeship.
Roadside Patrol Apprenticeship
- Level 3 Motor Vehicle and Maintenance Technician
- 36 months
You’ll develop skills in servicing and repairing all sorts of light vehicles along with the ability to recognise, diagnose and analyse faults using a range of diagnostic equipment, and provide effective engineering solutions for customers. And, as the motor industry continues to change, we’ll encourage you to keep learning, and share your knowledge with other team members.
As well as gaining a qualification that’s widely recognised by professional engineering institutions, you may have the opportunity to join us in a permanent Roadside Patrol role.
