What will I be doing?
- Define and evolve the enterprise data architecture vision, ensuring alignment with long-term business strategy and transformation goals
- Lead the architecture design and assurance of enterprise-scale data platforms, including data engineering, analytics and governance capabilities
- Partner closely with executive and senior stakeholders to shape data investment decisions and provide clear architectural direction
- Drive complex data programmes and initiatives, supporting delivery teams across major transformation and customer-focused projects
- Establish and govern data architecture standards, principles and target states to ensure scalability, resilience and value realisation
- Champion modern data practices and emerging technologies to continuously improve data platforms and outcomes
What do I need?
- Extensive senior-level experience in enterprise data architecture or a closely related data leadership role
- Strong data domain expertise, particularly across data engineering platforms, data management and data governance
- Proven experience delivering complex, large-scale data initiatives such as data mastery, customer data platforms or enterprise analytics programmes
- Demonstrated ability to operate credibly with C-suite and executive stakeholders, including Chief Officers
- Broad experience across modern data technologies, architectures and frameworks in hybrid and cloud environments
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to translate complex data concepts for technical and non-technical audiences
