As an Identity & Access Management (IAM) Specialist, you will play a key part in configuring and supporting IAM platforms across End-User Computing (EUC). You’ll manage our Active Directory & Microsoft Entra ID features such as Application Management, Authentication, Conditional Access, Hybrid Identity B2B/B2C, and more, including new and upcoming features.

You’ll be instrumental in driving forward continual change and improvements ensuring a reliable, user-friendly, and secure experience by safeguarding data and ensuring its integrity during transfer. By focusing on the EUC / SecOps Strategy and Road Map around Identity and Access, you’ll contribute to ongoing enhancements, including improving the Microsoft Identity Secure Score posture.

We are looking for an experienced technical specialist with a proven track record in the key areas mentioned above, along with a deep technical understanding of current security standards and protocols, including SAML, OAuth, LDAP, Kerberos, and SCIM.

What will I be doing?

Some of the duties include:

  • Lead key initiatives around Identity & Access Management, including enhancing the organisation's Microsoft Identity Secure Score posture.
  • Engage with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and implement effective processes for regular housekeeping.
  • Design, deliver, and manage EUC Projects using best practices and proven methodologies.
  • Provide training and documentation to EUC Level 3, Service Desk, and EUC Tier 2 support technicians.
  • Develop strategies, conduct software testing, and work proactively with users to prevent future incidents.
  • Maintain corporate standards, including infosec policies, and resolve escalated service issues to minimize impact and risk to customer solutions.

What do I need?

  • Demonstrable expertise in Modern Identity & Access Management Systems in a Hybrid model, including:
    • Active Directory & Microsoft Entra ID / Microsoft Entra Connect / Microsoft Entra seamless SSO
    • Active Directory Federated Services (ADFS)
    • Conditional Access
    • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) / Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR)
    • Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) / Azure Privileged Identity Management (PIM)
    • Enterprise Application (SSO) & Application Registration
  • Strong knowledge of current security standards and protocols, such as SAML, OAuth, LDAP, Kerberos, SSO, and FIDO2
  • Experience with cloud-based identity models, including external identities (B2B & B2C)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with colleagues and stakeholders across the organisation
  • Highly motivated, solution-focused, and committed to continuous learning and skill development
  • Experience in applying ITIL best practices to key processes, including incident, change, and problem management
