As a Portfolio Demand Analyst, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the AA delivers the right work at the right time by helping to manage and assess incoming change, project, and initiative requests through our Single Front Door process. This is a great opportunity to build experience within a dynamic transformation environment, working closely with experienced colleagues to support effective prioritisation and planning across the business.
You’ll work with data to help identify trends, risks, and opportunities, supporting the creation and maintenance of our quarterly roadmap. You’ll collaborate with teams across the COO and wider organisation to clarify requirements, assess strategic alignment, and ensure demand is directed to the right place. You’ll also have the chance to present insights and recommendations to stakeholders, helping to grow your confidence in communicating analysis and influencing decision‑making.
What will I be doing?

Supporting Demand Intake & Assessment
- Capture, track, and manage incoming demand requests through the Single Front Door process.
- Work closely with Engineering and COO teams to assess ownership, impact, and strategic alignment.
- Analyse demand to help determine priority and readiness for quarterly planning.
- Liaise with requestors to clarify requirements and ensure high-quality submissions.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyse demand and capacity data to identify trends, risks, and bottlenecks.
- Produce clear, insightful dashboards, reports, and stakeholder updates.
- Track KPIs related to demand, delivery, and resource utilisation.
Roadmap Support
- Help maintain an accurate, up-to-date quarterly roadmap.
- Monitor dependencies, risks, and changes that could impact delivery.
- Work with the Resourcing team to validate capacity and support planning.
- Ensure demand is routed correctly and aligned with the right teams.
Prioritisation & Process Improvement
- Support prioritisation based on value, alignment, and capacity.
- Document rationale and maintain transparent decision records.
- Recommend improvements to demand and roadmap management processes and tools.
What do I need?
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with experience in reporting and data interpretation.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confident communicator who enjoys working collaboratively across teams.
- Experience in demand, project, portfolio, or PMO environments (desirable).
- Knowledge of tools such as Excel, Power BI, Jira or Confluence.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
