If so, this is an exciting opportunity to shape and elevate how AA Cars shows up across the used-car industry.
We’re looking for a Trade Marketing Manager to lead the planning, development and execution of all B2B marketing activity for AA Cars. This is a hands-on role where you’ll combine creativity, data-driven thinking and exceptional communication skills to help retain and grow our dealer network.
This role sits exclusively within AA Cars, the AA’s dedicated used-car marketplace and dealer network platform. AA Cars connects trusted dealerships with millions of potential buyers, offering a reliable marketplace backed by one of the UK’s most recognised motoring brands. Our mission is to help dealers grow, help customers buy with confidence, and raise standards across the used-car industry.
Please note, this is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract
What will I be doing?
- Lead all B2B dealer communications, including newsletters, product updates and operational messaging, ensuring clear, consistent and value-driven engagement across email, SMS and supporting channels.
- Manage creative, print and PR agencies end-to-end, owning briefs, creative development, production and delivery to support both dealer retention and acquisition.
- Plan and execute targeted multi-channel campaigns, including Mailchimp email activity, dealer acquisition marketing and cross-sell initiatives (e.g., AA Warranty), working closely with sales and product teams.
- Develop and maintain trade marketing assets and materials, including digital and physical point-of-sale content that supports dealer onboarding, growth and brand visibility.
- Enhance AA Cars’ industry presence through PR activity, including the Used Car Index, sponsorships, awards submissions and wider trade marketing opportunities.
- Report on marketing performance and lead Salesforce optimisation projects, providing clear insights to stakeholders and ensuring the platform supports effective sales activity.
What do I need?
- Strong agency management capability, with confidence in writing clear briefs, managing stakeholders and guiding work from concept to delivery.
- Proven Mailchimp expertise, able to run end-to-end campaigns, segment audiences effectively and optimise performance.
- Broad B2B marketing experience, with the ability to apply commercial thinking and adapt across channels (a blend of B2C is a bonus).
- Exceptional communication skills, including compelling written content, confident presenting and effective storytelling.
- Solid experience delivering multi-channel campaigns, balancing creative thinking with data-driven decision-making.
- Highly organised working style, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and make smaller budgets deliver maximum impact.
