If you’re looking to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced setting and enjoy being at the heart of operations, we’d love to hear from you.
What will I be doing?
- Lead governance activities including Board and committee coordination, minuting, and maintaining governance logs and frameworks.
- Provide expert support to the CEO and senior leadership, managing executive calendars, travel, and sensitive communications with discretion.
- Liaise with Company Secretaries in Gibraltar and the UK to ensure governance alignment and regulatory compliance.
- Assist in preparing and editing key regulatory reports (e.g. SFCR, ORSA, RSR) and manage GFSC-related processes and documentation.
- Drive cross-functional projects and change initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and effective stakeholder engagement.
- Oversee office operations, vendor relationships, IT coordination, and onboarding of new staff to ensure a smooth-running environment.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for governance, compliance, and operational matters, contributing to continuous improvement and organisational success.
What do I need?
Capability, Knowledge and Experience:
- Proven experience in office management, executive support, or regulatory/governance roles, ideally within insurance or financial services.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritise and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail and professionalism.
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio) and open to exploring emerging AI tools to drive efficiency.
- Discreet and trustworthy when handling sensitive information, with a proactive and solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively, with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
