Role: SmartCare Service Advisor
Salary: £25,480
Location: Oldbury – office based
Contract: Permanent Full-time 
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 08:00 - 18:00, 1 in 3 Saturdays between 09:00-14:00
Start Date: 7th July

Our SmartCare Service Advisors are responsible for delivering and sustaining a fantastic experience for all our service, maintenance and repair customers. As a Service Advisor, you will be the main point of contact for our SmartCare customer communication while the vehicle is undergoing maintenance and repair in our network centres

What Will I Be Doing

  • Order service and or repair parts in a timely manner to ensure speed of service
  • Administer customer booking and job details in our bespoke management system from parts ordering to job completion and invoicing
  • Gathering information from customer calls and applying logic to assess the best course of action 
  • Keep customers informed and updated on the progress of their vehicle repairs, ensuring transparency and trust
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive product knowledge
  • Provide clarity of services and repairs based on Technician recommendations, especially whilst seeking approval to undertake service and or repairs
  • Schedule vehicles for appointments in the workshop efficiently and accurately.
  • Maintain precise and up-to-date customer records within our systems for effective service management
  • Handle all customer requirements for service and vehicle repairs in an efficient and professional manner
  • Liaise with the network garage to progress work through the system.
  • Let customers know of any faults or repairs found on their vehicle and provide them with clear and accurate solutions
  • Treat any dissatisfied customers with empathy and understanding, reassuring them that we can solve any issues should they arise
