As a Fleet Mobility Manager, you will lead a team dedicated to providing mobility solutions for our internal and external OEM customers. Your role will be crucial in managing a diverse fleet, including company cars and OEM Roadside Assistance vehicles, driving the new structure of our Fleet Team and fostering growth with other OEMs.

You will oversee thousands of vehicles across the UK, managing both our OEM customer fleet and company car fleet. You will support various business areas by providing vehicles, playing a central role in refining our operations to deliver exceptional service and enabling rapid business mobility growth.

You will address the varied needs of our external OEM customers and internal AA car users, handling finance queries, supplier management, and vehicle volume reviews. Your leadership and versatility will be key to our success and growth.

What will I be doing?

  • Managing a fleet of over 4,000 customer and company vehicles
  • Leading a team of Fleet Coordinators, ensuring timely completion of tasks
  • Providing Fleet Management for OEM customers as per contracts
  • Ensuring correct vehicle volumes with OEM customers and funding partners
  • Establishing routines for recharging customers according to agreed processes
  • Delivering Company Car and Salary Sacrifice offerings in line with policies
  • Utilising cars for reallocation and internal hire fleet to minimise long-term hire costs
  • Collaborating with key suppliers and procurement team for an effective supply chain
  • Providing regular and ad hoc reporting and Management Information Systems (MIS) accurately and on time
  • Adhering to financial budgets and policies, managing risk to protect the business and customers
  • Leading Continuous Improvement initiatives, embracing AI and automation for efficiency

 

What do I need?

  • Experience and knowledge of Fleet Management processes
  • Experience working with vehicle leasing
  • Knowledge of vehicle delivery processes using single to multi-car resources
  • Strong leadership skills to manage a team of Fleet Coordinators
  • Ability to handle finance queries and supplier management
  • Proficiency in establishing routines for customer recharging
  • Familiarity with Company Car and Salary Sacrifice policies
  • Capability to utilise cars for reallocation and internal hire fleet
  • Experience collaborating with suppliers and procurement teams
  • Skills in providing accurate and timely reporting and MIS
  • Adherence to financial budgets and policies
  • Competence in risk management to protect the business and customers
