Join our dynamic team at the AA as a Compliance Manager and be at the forefront of maintaining the highest standards of regulatory compliance within our esteemed organization. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our business operations align with the FCA’s principles and contribute to the AA's reputation for excellence.

What will I be doing?

  • Provide proactive consultancy services to ensure comprehensive understanding and adherence to regulatory obligations.
  • Embed a robust compliance culture across all business areas, offering guidance on legislative and regulatory matters.
  • Direct the integration of regulatory requirements into operational systems and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain compliance plans, policies, processes, and procedures to control and mitigate risks.
  • Represent the Compliance function in internal and external forums, influencing industry policy.
  • Deliver training and ongoing support to staff and managers on compliance issues.

What do I need?

  • Compliance Maestro: Strong experience within Compliance with key knowledge of the Insurance industry
  • Strategic thinker: Strong knowledge of FCA rules i.e., Consumer Duty, ICOBS, Consumer Credit, GIPP etc. and the ability to interpret complex information as well as experience with regulators/governing bodies
  • Effective Collaborator: Excellent stakeholder management/engagement experience with Senior Leaders, Executives and Directors/CEOs with outlining written reports as well as presentations and providing technical advice
  • Pragmatic Way: Be proactive with a "can-do" attitude, capable of seeing the big picture and focusing on key compliance issues as well as up to date with all relevant legislation/regulations
