As AR Assistant – B2B, you will be responsible for the creation of customer sales invoices, credit notes on the SAP sales ledger primarily in support of the B2B business but also all other AA businesses.
This is a systems focused role which will support the general administration of our HR systems, including supporting and resolving end user queries, management of our centralised mailboxes, change testing, maintenance of our user guides and supporting various reporting requirements. This is a great opportunity for someone who is customer focused and who has a passion for systems and driving change and improvements.
What will I be doing?
- The production of invoices requires the correct control and verification processes to be followed to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the invoices.
- This work requires large reconciliations of customer jobs and updating reports from one excel sheet to another.
- Amending high volumes of individual sales orders sales orders to reflect additional charges which can prove complex and time consuming, but it is essential that these reports are correct as customer requirements must be met before these documents are dispatched out to them.
- Creating individual PDF invoice for each job which reflects the correct amount charged and uploading these to the customers portal.
- Creating reports that reflect the customers’ requirements.
- Understanding that incorrect data results in the hold up of payments from the customer and therefore increasing the debt.
- Dealing with internal and external customer telephone queries and attending telephone meetings whilst maintaining the high standards of the organization.
- Working to tight deadlines with accuracy and integrity.
What do I need?
Capability, Knowledge, and Experience
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information appropriately and in compliance with the Data Protection Act
- Strong IT skills – with detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office particularly Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Customer focus – making every effort to meet the needs and exceed expectations of customers.
