As a Transformation Project Manager at The AA, you'll lead the charge in delivering enterprise-wide projects, ensuring timely, budget-conscious implementation within our Road business area.

You'll leverage the latest technology to enhance roadside patrol services and related business areas. Your role involves day-to-day project oversight, collaborating closely with the Transformation Lead & PMO to break down the project scope into manageable iterations across IT, Networks, Data, Digital, Customer Operations, and more.

What will I be doing?

  • Develop and maintain the project delivery plan and RAID log.
  • Lead delivery meetings and collaborate with internal and external team members to ensure tasks are completed and resources are adequately allocated.
  • Communicate progress and status updates to key stakeholders across various business areas and within the project team.
  • Manage project costs (Capex/Opex) with appropriate governance and control, adhering to the monthly financial reporting cycle.
  • Ensure all project delivery documentation is accurately produced, properly stored, and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide the necessary support following project handover, ensuring all support documentation is complete before project closure.

What do I need?

  • Extensive Project Management experience in an Agile environment, managing a variety of projects across multiple business areas such as IT, Digital, Data within a large-scale/corporate organisation.
  • Proven experience in Project Finance/Cost Control, including Capex/Opex, budget control, and actuals/forecasting.
  • Experience working cross-functionally, collaborating with team members from various departments and business functions.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills with all stakeholders, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills and an analytical approach.
  • Committed to continuous improvement, supporting new ideas and approaches, and delivering excellence.
