Salary: up to £17,000, depending on experience

To be committed to provide the business support for administration tasks.

You will be responsible for identifying incoming physical post and e-mails, and ensuring these are accurately recorded on the claim file, and allocated to the correct claims handler or team.

 You will also be responsible for outgoing physical post, ensuring the items of post are processed via Royal Mail via the correct class.

  • Franking outgoing post


  • Processing Recorded Delivery Letters
  • Managing the central claims email inbox
  • Scanning and indexing of incoming physical post
  • Processing of outgoing cheques

Capability, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Previous administration experience of a minimum of 6 months’ working in an office environment is preferable – but not essential.
  • Good spoken and written communication skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • PC literate with good administrative skills.
  • Ability to take on increased ownership and responsibility when necessary

Education and Qualifications:

  • 5 GCSE’s A-C or equivalent experience preferred

Personal Characteristics:

  • Dedicated and passionate about achieving results and able to work consistently in a sometimes pressurised environment.
