The AA is one of the most recognised and trusted brands in the United Kingdom. Most people, of course, know the AA for our breakdown assistance service. And with good reason: we are the UK's number one, with around 15 million members and over 100 years of history.
But we're actually a surprisingly diverse organisation, with a number of market-leading businesses all under one umbrella. There's our nationwide Driving School, for a start. Financial services also make up a significant portion of our business: for example, we are the UK's biggest independent insurance broker, providing 1.6 million car, home and life insurance policies. We also provide almost 120,000 loans every year. And we produce successful publications like hotel and restaurant guides, maps and route finders; not to mention road signs throughout the country.
Perhaps most compellingly for our graduates, we're also undergoing a very exciting period of growth – something which will throw up a number of opportunities, particularly as we look to float or sell the company in the next few years.
