Contact Centres
The AA operates four customer contact centres across the UK; they are at Newcastle, Cardiff, Cheadle (near Manchester) and Oldbury (West Midlands).
Variety
Naturally, our teams in these centres deal with a wide range of issues. These include arranging assistance for AA customers who have broken down, providing people with information about our products and services, looking after home and car insurance quotes and sales, handling insurance claims from AA customers, selling membership to new customers, and arranging lessons for learner drivers and handling complaints.
Flexibility
Working in an AA contact centre is not a 9am-to-5pm, Monday-to-Friday job. We have to ensure that our customers and AA members can reach us wherever they are, whenever they need to. Some contact centres are open 24 hours a day and all are open seven days a week. Due to this, you'll have a choice of different shift patterns, including part-time opportunities to fit in with any external commitments you might have. Working weekends and bank holidays is normal.
